Family Fun!
Splash Down Water Park - With 11 acres and five different water areas, everyone is sure to find something they like. Mom and dad can enjoy a leisurely float along the 770ft. Lazy River or sit under the Funberllas and Pavilion for some shade, while the kids enjoy the 70ft tall waterslides, two fast Cannonball slides or the Log Walks and Lilly Pad Walks. For the more competitive swimmers in the family they have a 25 meter lap pool.

PWC Parks- you can do almost anything with the park authority. Sing around a fire at one of the campgrounds or go hiking on the fitness trail. Brush up on your salsa skills with Pierre, the dance instructor or spend a day fishing and golfing.

Fair Grounds- Hosting a multitude of events from the the largest county fair in Virginia to the popular Sugarloaf craft shows this is a great place to spend a day with the kids.

Old Dominion Speedway- The Old Dominion Speedway holds many racecar events including funny cars and drag racing.

Fairfax County, Family:
The Water Mine Family Swimin' Hole - more than an acre of slides, flumes, sprays, showers, floatables and interactive play features, circled by Rattlesnake River with a 2.5 mile per hour current that gently nudges tubes along. Located at Lake Fairfax Park, near Herndon.

Burke Lake Park - located at 7315 Ox Road in Fairfax Station. Its 888 acres feature a 218-acre lake with fishing, boating, rowboat rental, tour boat rides, camping, a miniature train, a carousel, outdoor volleyball courts, an 18-hole par 3 golf course, an ice cream parlor and snack bar, picnic areas with grills, and playgrounds.
